Saylani Learning Management System (LMS)
The Saylani LMS is a centralized learning platform built to manage digital education operations at scale for SMIT programs. I contributed to the system across student, trainer, and admin roles, covering course enrollment, online Zoom classes, attendance tracking, assessments, fee/payment flows, event updates, and academic operations. The platform is optimized for high daily activity and provides structured workflows for both learners and internal management teams.
Project results
The Challenge
Saylani required a production-ready LMS that could support high daily traffic while coordinating the full learning lifecycle: student enrollment, online class delivery, attendance capture, quizzes/exams, fee status, class schedules, and announcements/events. The core challenge was to make these workflows reliable and easy to manage across students, trainers, and administrators at scale.
My Solution
I contributed to the LMS implementation using React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Redux for a fast, structured frontend experience, with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB powering secure backend services and academic data workflows. AWS services were used for deployment and scalable media/file handling. The system includes class module management, Zoom-integrated session operations, attendance and quiz pipelines, payment-aware enrollment tracking, and a complete admin panel for batches, trainers, course operations, and reporting.

The Impact
The LMS now supports around 200K+ alumni records, 25K+ active users, and 20K+ daily users through a unified platform for learning and administration. Operational tasks that were previously fragmented are now managed in one system, improving class continuity, academic monitoring, and day-to-day execution for both students and the SMIT team.
