NEDIAN-NA (NED International Alumni Network of North America) is an umbrella organization for NED Alumni Associations across North America. The platform serves as a vital hub connecting thousands of NEDians, fostering lifelong connections, empowering professional growth, and celebrating shared heritage through meaningful collaboration and community engagement.
Project results
The Challenge
NEDIAN-NA needed a centralized digital platform to connect NED University alumni scattered across North America. The challenge was to build a comprehensive system that would manage multiple regional chapters (Atlanta, Silicon Valley, Washington DC, Michigan, Chicago), coordinate events and conventions, facilitate mentorship programs, handle board member profiles, manage an endowment fund, and provide a newsletter system—all while creating a sense of community and enabling seamless communication among thousands of alumni members across different states.
My Solution
I developed a comprehensive alumni network platform for NEDIAN-NA using React for optimal performance and SEO. The platform features a modern, responsive design built with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, ensuring type safety and consistent styling across all devices. I implemented a sophisticated event management system supporting both upcoming and past events with detailed information, created individual pages for 15+ regional alumni associations with custom branding, built a board of directors directory with member profiles, and integrated a projects showcase highlighting active initiatives. The platform includes a newsletter system, contact forms, and social media integration to keep the community engaged.
